Privacy notice

What we collect

Account details, the identity signals you provide for a target (such as name, city, country, employer or aliases), your corrections and added context, and records of the actions you approve. We collect the minimum needed to resolve identity and produce a report.

Public content

We process publicly available content to assess relevance, severity and credibility. We store links, metadata and assessments rather than mirroring third-party material beyond what is needed for evidence.

Minors and Guardian Mode

Guardian Mode requires confirmation of lawful authority. Data collection for a minor is minimised further, access is restricted, and retention periods are shorter.

Workforce Mode

Employer use requires a documented lawful basis and appropriate notice or consent. DNA WEB does not make or recommend employment decisions, and high-impact decisions require qualified human review outside the platform.

Retention and deletion

Reports and audit records are retained for the period stated in your plan, then deleted or anonymised. You can request deletion of an identity signal, a target or your account at any time.

Security

Encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access, multi-factor authentication as an account option, and an audit log of privileged actions.
